Strong Island is an independent record label originally established in 1988, based on Long Island, New York. Strong Island has been actively releasing music nationwide since1994 and boasts a catolog that includes 1 Billboard Charting Rap Single and 3 Billboard Charting Dance Singles. Music releases range from an urban style (hip-hop, r&b, reggae) to a dance genre (progressive house, trance, drum n bass, freestyle).

Strong Island is currently independently distributed through many local distributers and one-stops
